MetroSearch says A big “Hello, World!”

Design of MetroSearch Prototype has just been finalized. Screenshots will be uploaded very shortly.

MetroSearch.co.nz is a New Zealand based Yellow Page type of Service, in a multi-language framework. New Zealand is a multi-cultural country, with above 80% of the population are migrants or decendants of migrants. MetroSearch enables listers using multi-language for their business listing, thus targets the business listing more efficiently.

YUI Ajax Framework will be used for Rich Interface Presentation. Google map, which has been voted as the best online map software is embedded as the map service.

Business listing will be free. However a business could register as premium accounts, which enables further customization of the listing, with no competitor’s advertisements.

Our revenue will be gained primarily from advertisements and premium accounts.
